🐐 A Fun-Filled Day at Mel’s Fun Farm with Our Prep and Senior Classes 🐔

On our recent excursion, our Prep and Senior classes were treated to an unforgettable adventure at Mel’s Fun Farm! 🚌🌞
Hands-On Learning at Its Best
We believe that children learn best when they can interact with the world around them, and what better way to do that than with a hands-on visit to a working farm? Mel’s Fun Farm provided the perfect setting for our little explorers to engage with nature and animals in a safe, educational, and fun environment.
Feeding and Interacting with Farm Animals 🐄
One of the highlights of the day was the opportunity for the children to feed and engage with the animals. From curious goats and fluffy sheep to clucking chickens and friendly rabbits, our learners were thrilled to get up close with the animals. It was heartwarming to see the excitement on their faces as they learned about how these animals live, what they eat, and how to interact with them gently and respectfully.
Creating Lasting Memories 🌟
Beyond the fun, this trip was a chance to foster a deeper appreciation for animals and the natural environment. School outings like this help to develop important life skills such as empathy, patience, and responsibility — all while having heaps of fun with friends and teachers.
Our educators and staff were equally delighted to see the children so engaged, eager to ask questions, and wide-eyed with wonder.
